COLORADO: A 42-year-old pedestrian died after he was struck by a car driven by a 17-year-old driver. Police are not releasing the name of the driver, but said Steven Green, 42, of Denver was walking on South Lansing Street in Aurora when he was struck.

WASHINGTON: A teen died hours before his 18th birthday when he rolled his SUV Tuesday night. Police say Zachary Smith died almost instantly in the crash, when he was thrown from the car. He was not wearing a seatbelt, and emergency crews found his body about 25 feet away from the crash.

PENNSYLVANIA: A 17-year-old on his way to school narrowly escaped killing a woman who had been sleeping on her couch. Seriously. The teenager, who admits he may have been driving over 80 mph on his way to school, crashed into the woman's living room.

OKLAHOMA: An 18-year-old passenger was killed when the car he was riding in hit a dip in the road, lost control, and rolled an unknown number of times. Police say Alan Thomas Jackson was thrown from the vehicle and pinned underneath, and died from massive injuries. The driver, 16-year-old Ashley Edwards, was treated and released from the hospital.

OKLAHOMA: 16-year-old Tiffany Plum died when she veered into oncoming traffic, over corrected, and struck another car. Tiffany was trapped in the wreck for about 15 minutes, before she died. Story here.

MICHIGAN: A 19-year-old died Wednesday after a Monday evening car accident. Joshua Groff died two days after the crash that left him and the driver, 16-year-old Mitchell Chapman, in critical condition. Police say they're not sure what caused the Delton township accident, since it occurred on a gentle curve, no drugs or alcohol was found at the scene, and there were no skid marks at the site.

CONNECTICUT: Police say a 17-year-old driver ran a red light, spun out of control, and killed a 17-year-old pedestrian in Hartford. Anthony Morales died following the accident, and another pedestrian was hospitalized in stable condition, according to this story.

MISSOURI: Sixteen-year-old Laura Reynolds died after a 19-year-old driver, who is being charged with drunk driving, headed into oncoming traffic and struck a car head-on. Kenneth Scott Blake II is being charged with felony manslaughter. A witness to the crash says Kenneth tried to drive away from the crash, but was restrained by witnesses. Police took him away in a horror movie costume. A story on a memorial about Laura can be seen here.

MICHIGAN: A 16-year-old is being charged in the death of a Detroit couple after his car slammed into theirs. Police say Christopher Verge, 16, is being charged with two counts each of second-degree murder, manslaughter with a motor vehicle, driving on a suspended license causing death and fleeing police. He ran a red light on Oct. 26 and slammed into a Pontiac Grand Prix, killing the man and woman inside the car.

CONNECTICUT: A 16-year-old swim team member died and three others were injured, one critically, in a one-car accident in Washington. Cody Montana, 16, of Roxbury died in the crash, which happened when Cody was speeding down Bee Brook Road, lost control, veered into the shoulder and struck a rock. The 1994 Nissan Maxima he was driving flipped. Story can be found here.

NORTH CAROLINA: 19-year-old Alexander Monk died in a crash in Union County early Thursday morning. He was speeding when he veered off the road and into trees. Police say the car was wedged in between trees, and rescue workers had to cut down two trees before moving the wreckage. Story here.
